When you open a new ead document in XMetal from a template, it fills in all the default information. You replace the text in green. This example is from the University of MN, but we would customize the template for the library. In the box and folder list at the bottom, you insert new elements for each box/container. XMetal makes this about as easy as possible but a couple of hours of training would still be necessary, and complete mastery could take a while. Tim | |
